Although they say rivers never return,
the Danube keeps doing so as the travel companion of this band from Barcelona that was born 13 years ago.
When the passion of instrumental music came across this gem by Bulgarian composer Diko Iliev, its heart began to beat at 9/8, and here it is… Danubian Dajčovo Horo, another contemporary take on Balkan tradition, slow cooked by the hands of Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra.
The magic began when Jordi Solé pressed the record button and the red light went on at studio El Local, in Girona. The winning duo, formed by Ferran Conangla (music mixing), and Yves Roussel (mastering), completed the sound, that will be accompanied by the visual art of French director Yves Roussel to immortalize the moment.
